A tantalizingly delicious event sponsored by the Moosehead Chamber of Commerce. A great place to take the whole family. Choose 12 samples from a selection of 30 delectable chocolate desserts. For the kids there is a special Children’s corner with unique food & prizes. And as always you can place a bid on the great items in our Chinese Auctions.

Guided Family Lunchtime Ride/Cookout

on Prong Pond

10:00 AM -Meet at Moosehead Riders’ Clubhouse

This annual memorial snowmobile ride honors those aboard the B-52.

Meet at the clubhouse for a Spaghetti Luncheon at Noon and then ride to Elephant Mtn.

The Moosehead Lake Region Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife & Ricky Craven will host the Moosehead Lake Togue Ice Fishing Derby. A three day derby with great prizes for the three largest togue along with a Grand Door Prize and great fish pool prizes.

The prizes include:
First place- $1,500; Second place- $500; Third place- $250; & a Fish pool prize of $250. There will also be a Grand Door Prize, which does not require a fish to win.

Tickets are: $25 single and $40 for a family (couples and children 16 years of age or younger).

This is no "Fish Tale"!!!

30 and 100 Mile Sled Dog Race will begin and end in Greenville. There will also be events and activities throughout the day for the whole family to enjoy. The day will end with a bonfire to welcome the 100 mile musher’s back to Greenville.

Delectable Delights

The professional cross country racing organization known as USCC, which has been racing in the mid-west for years, is coming east to Greenville for the Third Annual Maine Pro 100 which will also include the Maine Amateur Cross Country Championship Race.

It was amazing to see them all arrive on the bikes…with a large white van trailing behind that carried all their luggage!

We are posting one group photo that they were able to send us and they have promised to send us more when they return home to Germany.

We are very thankful that we were spared the full impact of Hurricane Irene.

We hope our fellow New Englanders recover quickly from the severe flooding they have received from Irene’s rainfall.

We are looking forward to a welcoming all the leaf-peepers who will be soon visiting Moosehead Lake.

Our guests are continuing to enjoy white water rafting, scenic drives, seaplane rides, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and guided tours to see the fascinating wildlife Maine has to offer.

Moosehead Lake has so much to do…just ask us!

We are always thrilled when guests return for a visit…so we were extremely happy to see Bob & Terri Berthier again this year!  Last year, Bob shared some of his magnificent photos with us and he has generously shared some of this year’s fabulous photos…thank you, thank you, thank you!  (and, by the way, we REALLY enjoy our chats with you both!)
