Moosehead Lake Togue Ice Fishing Derby with Ricky Craven
Fourth Annual Derby with lots of great prizes. Cash prizes for the three largest togue, and numerous prizes for the fish pool. The first five togue (only 1 over 18 inches) brought in to the weigh stations gives the fisherman a chance in the fish pool. Several BIG door prizes which do not require a fish to win. Tickets are $25 single & $40 family. Ricky Craven will spend some time on Moosehead visiting anglers.

Wilderness Sled Dog Race
Spectators flock to the 9 AM start to witness the intense excitement of dog teams eager to run. The 100-mile and 30-mile races traverse the frozen waters and forested mountain trails of the Moosehead Lake Region. Fun activities for families are also scheduled throughout the day. Annual Moosehead Lake Chocolate Festival
A tantalizingly delicious event sponsored by the Moosehead Chamber of Commerce. A great place to take the whole family. Choose 12 samples from a selection of 30 delectable chocolate desserts. For the kids there is a special Children’s corner with unique food & prizes. And as always you can place a bid on the great items in our Chinese Auctions.

Horse/Wagon Ride and Fireworks!
February 24th
Fireworks and Fun
On Feb. 24th, horse/wagon ride start at 10 to about 2. There will also be a clown, jugglers and face painting at the Museum with free hot chocolate.
On the evening of Feb. 24th, there will be fireworks on the ice by the Forestry Dept. All is free and sponsored by J&L Waitkus
The fireworks and all the festivities will take place at the bottom of our hill.
Our guests will have the best seats on the lake!

Second Annual USCC Snowmobile Race
The second annual USCC cross country snowmobile race, the Victory Motorsports Maine 100 will be held in Greenville! Pro, Semi-Pro, Amateur & Age classes with prize money of $10,000. A fun filled day of racing excitement, vendors & Arctic Cat demo rides. Also featuring The Indian Hill Trading Post Maine Amateur Championship – Maine snowmobilers compete for the title of Maine Amateur Champion. Spectator gate opens at 8:30 a.m. The spectator area may be muddy – wear your boots. The event is at Bullwinkle’s Raceway. Check Availability
